The Machinehead design comes from a Synthesis.net interview. The Synthesis Network is both a print and online publication that produces a weekly magazine. The Synthesis needed a banner for posting the interview online. They wound up using the banner for the magazine banner as well. The feeling that I wanted out of the piece was to show the bands erratic behavior and sound into a visual image.
